Very clear explanation. So basically BECAUSE the loan was in US$, devaluing the dollar helps the trillion of debts the US has with Asian countries. I guess, then Asian countries have no choice. Now were all US foreign debt in US $ then...

Can you explain more about devaluing the dollar means cheapening the cost of foreign debt. Because it seems that most of US debts are in the hands of Asia ( China and Japan).

I have on Cable : kind of range on long term - weekly. So it seems that now it is about waiting - if not too late for the best place to short

But if the dollar is very devaluated, would it not imply that exports from the US will be cheaper, and at the end the US economy will perform better? I have no economics training, so please correct me
