Every trader has a different approach for trading ,so trader could be profitable no matter looking for 5 pips or 500 pips profit target .And if a strategy can handle more than 7% risk ,why not?

I agree with you that we should be adapted to lose many small battles to win a big one . But i don't agree with increasing the lot size after every loss ,that's very dangerous , i think using high R:R ratio is much better.

This week all losses from last week were recovered and a small profit of 20% was made . So recovering 34% drawdown,even with a slow moving choppy market , is not a big deal as long as trading plan is respected. url

Shouldn't your trading system tell you when to trade and how to trade the choppy market? And i think you can use any stop loss, small or big on any time frame depending on your trading style and strategy.

I'm still a losing trader struggling with MM ,but working hard to be a super profitable trader.
I have written here many times that i always risk 7% from 300$ ,21$ .i don't decrease it when my account decrease ,and my drawdown reached 34% in 4 ...a basic trading rule may be the cause of our trading losses

Every trade the 7% is calculated of the 300$,i don't decrease it when the account decrease,always 7% of 100%. My drawdown reached 34% last week (below 200$) after many losing trades ,but i could take the account back to about 290$ with only 3 wining ...
