Lack of discipline can be a problem, I agree, but I'd add that a trader also needs patience, experience and knowledge to trade well.
Most traders fail because of no discipline!

In the end of the day the main thing that truly matters is that you've found a strategy that is profitable for you. I've traded both with my own strategies and other people's strategies, both have worked for me, so I have no complaints.

A lot of people trade using strategies that they haven't come up with personally and they profit. Whatever strategy you use, just test it in detail before committing to it, regardless of its origin.

That's a good advice. I'd add that one should also probably learn a bit, at least, about fundamental analysis. It's good to be at least aware of the basics.

I thoroughly I agree. Whatever you read in books should be put into practice by actual trading. Having the knowledge to do is necessary, having the actual experience is indispensable.

It's forming a correction from 140.20, but I think once that's done it will keep depreciating.
