Agree, but I do find it helpful -- I like transaction volume better, and I think they use transaction volume as a surrogate for OBV for the indicator in the Forex market, but still call it OBV. It's not a perfect correlation, but it is around 85-90% ...

image The gap up today is not being confirmed by on balance volume. Could be stop hunting on thin volume. Reversal at end of day Friday was low volume. Will look for signs of price rejection and go short if they appear. We're bumping the upper ...

As long as EURCHF is challenging its peg, I don't think EURUSD will go much below 1.24. Price action suggests Swiss Central Bank buying Euros in quantity this morning to defend 1.20, pushing up EURUSD off its lows in the process.

Dollar weakness will resume when everyone figures out the Fed won't raise rates because the real economy still sucks and the US government can't afford to pay the interest on the debt at higher interest rates.

Two big positive economic news events for dollar this morning -- durable goods and consumer confidence -- unable to move price much. I realize core durable goods orders were a disappointment, but there is no denying the weak market response to the ...

Probably a good time to go long. 103.85 has been support for a few days. Plus, the high impact news at 10 EST tomorrow will be bullish for the dollar. Boeing sold a lot of planes and the non-core will be huge. Core is less predictable, but I think ...

EURUSD big move down tonight on worse than expected Euro Zone and German GDP. I trade news events and fundamentals, with a slight nod to technicals -- this news event (GDP) will be a good opportunity as it will likely break EURUSD support of 1.3330, ...

Oversold, so maybe a short term bounce, but the Euro Zone is facing severe systemic problems. Italy has entered recession, France is next. Germany can no longer compensate as their economy will slow as well due to sanctions against Russia. Deflation ...

Made 17 pips -- sold just as soon as I could see the news -- think the AUDUSD has topped out and all down hill from here -- in waves, of course. This looks like a turning point. Think selling on any rallies is the way to go from here on out.

Agree with post by "bogus". NZDUSD down about 400 Pips in the last 4 weeks. Now hitting .8420 area for a double bottom. I am long at .8432 with a 10 pip stop loss and a 100 pip target (25% retracement of last month's move). Might go lower still, ...

Actually, the Gini coefficient for US is about 0.5. The Chinese are beating us at our own capitalist game. Who would of thunk it could happen that a communist country could so radically change into a capitalist country.
