GBPJPY 4H — This is an interesting chart - 2 clearly defined channels. No set up yet, but it will probably run once it breaks out.

Thanks! I am not really a fan of trading on Monday morning, but there seems to be a bit of action. I have trailed this one, in case the market goes back into consolidation mode. I like the USD/JPY also (1H and 4H), but did not post that one - I only ...

Risk:Reward Projection — It's the weekend and I am bored. A lot of good talk amongst the 5E crew re entries and SL, but it is worth looking a bit more closely at "reward" in your trade selections. We all know when we should be technically ...

I find that price has a habit of making it's way to major areas of S and R. At the moment, to me, 137.75 is a significant area based on how price has reacted to it over the last 2 weeks. Next major area of ...Trading Made Simple

Dean - Once I have determined my trading timeframe, I look for "space". Here is an example with 150 pips to a major area of support. On a 4 HR chart you dont have to microanalyse every twist and turn, hence the opportunity for those types of moves. ...

Technically correct — Can't argue with the set-ups, but I am not pulling the trigger. I am only looking at AU right now (actually long on 4H and D), and I think you would be selling into value. I hate this time of the day to trade also - ...

USD-JPY — Just closed this one - entered last night on 30M chart (Sydney time) with the other guys - closed it when I woke up as TDI looks like it might be going to sleep. Looks OK still on 4H but I am out now.

I can't really see a set up pursuant to this thread's entry requirements. My charts operate on the NY close (GM+3), so no cross on the daily yet. I hope it works out anyway. It is a value area based on your analysis and I can see your logic.

Stop confusing yourselves — Guys - pick a timeframe and trade that timeframe. For confirmation, shop around the other timeframes until you find one that accords with the position you have taken - this is the trend.
