No disrespect intended, but posts like these always strike me as having a distinct doomer-ish slant, and to be honest I find them quite humorous. url
Brexit Monday: Don’t do Anything Stupid!

Agreed, its just touches on a trendline. But I've noticed that for many analysts who use Head & Shoulders, they tend to see them everywhere. Its like the old adage, if your only tool's a hammer, you view every problem as if its a nail.

Depends on the conspiracy theory. I don't think most people believe Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK as a lone gunman under no influence from anyone else - many don't believe he killed JFK at all. (Sorry to go off-topic with that).

If a lot of people think that, brexit is definitely on - even more so than it was before the shooting. That's the power of rumours & conspiracy theories. It'll be interesting to see which viewpoint gains the most sway before the vote - I'm betting ...

Obviously I have no idea what he'll say, so that's a bet I can't take
Neither do I know if he was sane & working with a group of "leavers", or if he's just a crazy lunatic - if the latter, then it won't matter so much what he has to say about ...You know it's a crazy market when rumours start to do the rounds

You could be right, time will tell either way. Btw I'm not at all "worked up" as you put it - text can sometimes make contrary view points seem emotive when they're not. Look at forexings' post above for someone who appears to be worked up

Its not confirmed that he yelled that. Were you there? Did you hear him? And I was questioning the person who said the vote was delayed because of this, something there's been absolutely no news about at all - and you're saying that "logic" says its ...

Its cool - I just saw what looked like a runaway freight train of "Brexit is off", "Its real, they sacrificed Jo Cox to suspend the vote", followed by a guest saying he was thinking of going long on GBP & that made me think we should be waiting for ...

I was short, my trailing stops taken out at significant profit, am now flat & watching. But yeah I do take exception to ill-informed BS being spread all over a site like this.

Which has been reported as one (out of several) eye-witnesses _perhaps_ said they heard the man shout that. News outlets love to publish dramatic headlines, nothing is confirmed. Is it a full moon today? I should go outside & check. Better put my ...

So far what I'm reading here is nothing more than a bunch of conspiracy theories that belong on zerohedge rather than this site. Heaven forbid that new traders read your speculation (which you're presenting as fact) and make trades based off it.

Hmm, absolutely no mention of being ready to lower the rate again if needed. First time in a while that particular phrase has been missing from the end of the statement.

From the article: "will help shake EUR/USD from its recent apoplectic, rangebound state." I don't think "apoplectic" means what he thinks it means. Perhaps he should consult a dictionary before trying to fill an article with big words in order to ...
USDOLLAR Breakout Looks Hollow without EUR/USD Participation
- slipshod commented Dec 1, 2015
Well yeah - as I see it, that's the nature of fundamentals-based forex trading, as us retail traders never have access to the whole picture & we only hear information long after the "big money" (reserve banks for the most part) have already made ...
Australia heading for recession
- slipshod commented Dec 1, 2015
Yes, it might. OR the market could decide that its already ramped the USD so high over the past year in expectation of a rate rise, that when it actually happens there's nothing more to look forward to & its time to take some profit. Ever heard the ...

Firstly, the USD has already risen a heck of a long way over the last year on the promise of an interest rate rise. Now its (apparently) getting close, do people really expect it to fly upwards once the rise happens? I doubt it. More likely it'll be ...
