1 buy @ open 30/4, 1 buy @ open 1/5, sell those contracts 1/5 however for me its not important if they were closed out or not...... I just wonder if you would survive this downtrend if these trades were not closed out???.....

I disagree.....2 buys, 2 sells = 4x5 pips = 20 pips lost in spread and you wont close out at breakeven.....

shadmar/bulldog: your ea did not account for the spread.....the trade from 27.4.2018 would not be closed out on 1.5.2018 and we would be entering many more trades after 27/4..... like shadmar says: the high spread makes the outcome differ and it ...

I believe this modified strategy is very dangerous....this pair has been trading at around 251.00 before and if it is trending that way again, your account will be littered with trades where price did not come back for the trade to be closed.....1 ...

in a downtrend, another order is only submitted if the last close is lower than the close of the day before........ if today`s close is not lower than yesterday`s close: no new order....

hi Merka, you`re talking about 2 different topics here: body size - rescue plan...... body size is important if you want TP`s to be hit within 24 hours of entry as much as possible so you dont need the rescue plan often at all.......... as for the ...

smilee recommends a 150 pip body for GBP/NZD, but from my backtest you can see 100-140 daily bodies are even better plus a lot more trades......who knows what a body under 100 pips might do?? you always need to do manual backtesting to get down to ...

hi folks, not sure if it helps anybody..... thought to do a manual test for G/N from 1/1/20 till present on the daily chart..... the average daily range for the last 250 days is 197 pips..... body 100-120 pips; 13 days; average 112 pips max body ...

hi smilee, in post 1: if price goes from last entry against the direction of the trade, open at the open of every new day an additional market order. what we`re doing here is NOT to make a profit with the additional trades, but to get out of a ...
