Fudomyo commented Apr 17, 2013Gold ETFs are traded on regulated exchanges. (it's not Forex.) CME, ICE, SGE and all other major exchanges are closed on the weekend. This is why Gold dropped when the Asian markets opened on Monday and not over the weekend.
