Looks like we're close to a whole mess of signals, in USDJPY, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, USDCAD, GBPJPY, EURCHF and possibly others. I'm looking at the H1 TF for all these pairs... Be sure to wait for Validator confirmation! Patience is the key

Yes, I've been entering at the open of the signal bar, and yes it's possible that the market may turn the other way. In practice, if the Validator is positive, it's rare for the signal to be false, so I'm finding that it's not too risky to enter ...

Thanks for the positive feedback. Your idea for exits is intriguing and one that I hadn't considered before. I'll definitely be giving it more study... Looks like this thread may already be paying off!! DGC

I'm not sure which is best as I haven't studied them all in detail. It would probably vary with different markets. I have been working only with H1 because it fits my time constraints at the moment, but just based on a visual study it seems that ...

Neal, I looked at your EA (thanks for your work, BTW) and I couldn't find any reference to the Awesome Oscillator anywhere.. perhaps you meant to say there's a problem with the Absolute Strength indicator? If that's the case, the problem may be the ...

Ah, I see.. I didn't see the double-post (just the second one) and I assumed that a mod had deleted the other one before I got there, so I also assumed that the two posts were right next to each other.. my bad.

Yes, I included all the rules I want to use for completeness, even if they are the same as Eagle's original concept. Yes. It's a probabilistic approach, based on the idea that an indicator signal identifies a time period within which the probability ...

I have shown the LSMA Slope, not LSMA.. See attachment for the code which I modified to give a slope value. I haven't tested this concept yet, so I don't know what would work best. The parameters would change over time as the nature of the market ...

This is a very interesting concept, and it inspired me to do something I rarely do: read the entire thread (all 44 pages!) After a little study, I've decided to do some testing, with the following customizations... 1. The box will end at 18:00, not ...

Try this: EUR/CHF 4 hr 15 period EMA of median price Buy when EMA turns up, sell when it turns down. Set stoploss to 100 pips and set the trade size to limit the risk in $$. Simple, effective, low maintenance. Many happy pips!!

Hey Pips... It's not a matter of me not liking your trend lines, I simply don't understand how you drew them. They work, it seems, and that's what's most important, but there seem to be dozens of ways to draw trendlines and all of them involve some ...
