Swap is interesting only for long life open trades. Edit: in fact, not even for that because as soon as the pair is moving in the positive swap direction, the swap return will be lower.

The VPS connects same like us, closer, and the connection with the LP should be via other interface. Having this in mind, it could be easy to know if one is entitled for compensations or not during this time.
