Yeah, you're right. I guess I feel the need to trade all the time so I'm trying to make the trades happen instead of letting them come to me.

I'm still working on identifying the perfect set-up I guess. Glad to see you're making $$! Would you guys take the trade off the 30m?

It's a calendar (indicator) I got from this thread I think or another one. Just put it in your metatrader\experts\indicators folder.

Is Boxing a psychic or what?? I have to post this in honor of what he said earlier. I was prowling the market and took a look at the EUR/JPY. I saw what I recognized as a reversal sign on the 4hr like Boxing said earlier. So immediately I went to ...

Sorry guys, I've been out shopping with the family. I just got back in. By the way, I never formally introduced myself. I'm a 36yr old Information Security Professional in Dallas/Fort Worth. Codebreaker, glad you're here

Man, I've learned an awful lot from you today just in the few posts you placed. About your last comment, the part I'm chewing on and trying to grasp is this: "but at some point the 15 min will turn down because the 4h is forming a higher low which ...

Hmm are we in an uptrend or a downtrend? What is happening here, or what should I be waiting on here?

Man ur crazy
Stay focused! I have a question. Why does the 15m synch up with the 4hr so much faster than the 1hr? Why is the 1hr always lagging in getting in step with the 4hr but the 15m moves into place faster?bringin sexy back - stochastics

I'm changing the settings on mine and trying to see how it works for me. Are you saying you only use this sort of setup?

Hmm..I almost see the picture you're painting but not quite. Please explain this part to me: "The slower stochs are already telling me that the next time frame up is going my way,"

Ahh thanks for explaining all that. Dumb me! I'm sitting here waiting on the 15m to turn around and for the 5 to come back down on the 4hr. All that time, I could've been banking the pips on the 15m!! Ugh! I would've gone long on the 15m a long time ...

I apologize for posting charts if that's working on some people's nerves. But I do think that this is a learning experience for all of us since we have Boxing's perspective on this and as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Since I ...

I tried the same thing on the USD/CAD but that didn't work out as good as I thought it would. I'm still in the trade right now but I went in at .05/pip just for testing purposes. I went short on the 15m when it lined up pretty good with the 4hr.

Got it. But here's another question for you. Going off the 4hr, don't you subject yourself to massive drawdowns that way? That's what keeps me from the 4hr chart. I know that on the 15min charts, my chances of going into that situation are ...

Boxing, I placed a trade on that GBP/USD when the 5 turned around on the 15min chart and was in the same direction of the 4hr. I'm currently +18. Edit..now it took a little dip down to +8 and now back up: +38

3 different timeframes, 3 different signals. Do we sit and wait for the 4hr to come up more and then the 15m to follow? Boxing, how would you proceed on this one? See how the 15m is already trending up and will soon be in synch with the 4hr? That's ...

Hmm as far as I'm concerned this is THE definitive method! I had a 20pip loss this morning on GBP/JPY trading off the 15min chart. As I analyzed the trade later and this thread, I realized that I was trading against the 4hr trend. The 1hr was in ...
