When you get some time, could you post the charts of where you've found entries and why on the GBP/JPY either long or short, because I am not finding hardly any entries at all based on your description in the first or revised post. Thanks.
Bull and Bear Entry

Just want to be sure I understand the system. Scrolling back, I see a trade at 01:55 that would have netted 10 pips. After that, there were 5 long trades that would have lost. At 08:15, 08:45, 08:55, 09:30 and 09:35. Now it's 19:10, and from 09:35 ...

Does it work with the same settings on all pairs? Does look like you have more winners than losers on the gippy, but one drawback is the screen time. Would be nice if someone could make an indi for it.

Have checked out your posts and system, and can tell you put a lot of time and thought into it. How long have you tested it, and what have been your results? How did you figure it out? I've been thinking about something similar with other pairs ...

Bob, am having to do it manually as time permits, and to strike a balance between getting enough trades to make it worthwile and not getting stopped out. Your template is invaluable for this manual checking as I just change the level one to 100, ...

You should use the excel spreadsheet to see what might happen if whatever pair you're trading were to go 500 pips against you without a retrace. Each pair is different, and this is what I'm looking at now. Some pairs range for a long time without ...

What EA is used for this system?

There goes Tdion again. Tdion...what do you do? Lurk around looking for systems to diss?
But, in all seriousness, Tdion, FF needs someone like you to expose the fallacies in systems. Joel was posting actual results for quite a few months. No back ...First-Strike & One-Night-Stand users, show yourself and your mods, if you dare!!!

geoff, that may have come off wrong. I actually liked this method, and want to learn more about it. So, I'm glad you started the thread. There's a similar system with tighter stops, and that's where I lost the very first trade when both were hit at ...

Looks like there's thousands of ways to approach this system and EA. Do you know if someone has made an excel sheet that can give you the PROFIT you would make if you successfully close a trade at level 2, level 3, level 4, etc.? I'd like this for ...

In continuing to check the diferences between putting Bob's template on different charts, I've found that the entry points vary. For example, on januray 13, the one hour chart would enter BUYS on the AUD/NZD at 1.1908. The 30 minute chart would ...

I have followed Joel's thread off and on, and his posted results were impressive. I was looking for an EA that would cancel an open trade when the opposite was opened, and couldn't find one. I got burned one night while asleep and both orders opened ...

Bob, i saw your post on the AUD/NZD thrtead, and don't want to post there on this, so as not to confuse that thread. You said you're experimentiung with a 60X35 EA, and it can be used on 10 pairs. That's what I'm looking at, also, and trying to ...

I've seen there's quite a bit of difference between the one hour chart and 5 minute chart as to when trades would be taken. I tested an entry 100 PIPS away from center, using a 60/40 entry. So far, I've been able to visually test the EUR/CHF back to ...

Very cool, Arnold. The buffer value on the EA is 800, which is 80. I assume that if I want to enter at 120 pips away, I just change it to 120 (1200 on 5 digit brokers). Is this EA based off the 40 MA or the ATR? If it's the ATR, how can I determine ...

That's exactly it. I have 8 pairs, all relatively safe, and I should get a fair amount of trades. Nothing wild or scary, which is the way I prefer it. With fewer trades, I can monitor things better. Just using .3 lots for now while I'm testing. ...

Nothing scientific here, but in looking back at the MA line and distances away, I've come up with some entries on the safer pairs with a few big movers thrown in. I really like the idea of the entry being at extremes of the MA line. Will report as ...
