yeah.. I looked at GILT future, the seem to suggest the market is pricing in a cut sometime early next year

Does anyone think BOE will cut like the fed? Personally I dont.. maybe in a few months if inflation stays below target.. Though Mervyn King has shocked the market in the past

Yes, it turned out to be the case... I have noticed so often.. When resistance breaks, there is usually a retracement then a follow through afterwards.. buying the retracement seems to be a fairly consistant trade... Did anyone else trade this?

I started with one.. I found I had so much to take in at first, it was all I could cope with... I chose gbp/usd as my native currency is the pound.. So I had a basic idea of the british fundamentals... Good luck with your trading :-)

Can I make a suggestion? You do not sound ready to trade live yet. If your starting with 500 quid.. you will need microlots (0.01 lot) as 0.10 lot (a mini lot) would be using too much leverage. From what you have said you may be better practicing ...

I agree with that.. I decided on a trailing stop yesterday... it did hit, and i may miss the move if it shoots up now.. but at least I made nice pips... dont need every pips.. good luck with your trade.
