Yep, that's what I had too (see my FXCM chart above). And until you mentioned it, it didn't dawn on me that the news coincided with the "rollover". That was apparenlty the problem... or should I say, their EXCUSE.

And they further stated... "We will ensure that phantom gaps occasionally appear on the charts of certain traders, so that they will open a trade in hopes of that phantom gap being filled in short order."

Weird... I'm using FXCM and I never thought they had these kinds of issues (maybe I just haven't been paying close enough attention). I've never tried to post a screen cap of a chart before, so hopefully this works. image

I show about a 30-pip gap (from ~.70210 to ~.70530) that happened when the news came out. (And as of now, hasn't been filled.) Does anyone else show that?

Yeah, they just decided to end the drama right now rather than drag it out. So they just went ahead and Brexited, to get it over with.... gone, just like that.

Sorry, but I know very little about how that all works. One thing I'd advise, though, if I'm understanding what you're trying to do: Until you're absolutely certain things are working as planned, you should MONITOR everything, just to make sure any ...

This is a little off-topic, but we may soon find out if the Fed and others in positions of power/influence think a Trump presidency would be a good or a bad thing. I mean, if they have a really strong opinion one way or the other, it's not beyond ...

Not regarding this particular move, but just in general, yeah... I have some real problems with being impatient. I mostly scalp, and am usually only interested in getting maybe 5 or 10 pips at a time (hopefully in and out in half hour or less). And ...

This would be a nice time to be a billionaire*, and test the theory that a single person CAN make the market move hard if volume is low enough. (* I'm working on it. This time next year... WATCH OUT!)

Hey, not so quick! Maybe you haven't noticed, but we've still got a whole day before the end of the month... once we start moving toward parity, nothing can stop it! This will make the EUR/CHF crash look tame by comparison!

Hey guys, I just had to reinstall Windows and so I'm also having to reinstall a bunch of programs, one of them being MetaTrader. I've got everything back to normal except for one thing... that little overlay that shows the profit/loss in pips of ...

And while it's apparently true that Trump has filed bankruptcy on 4 or 5 different companies... he has had over 400 companies all together! In other words, he has a success rate of about 99%. THAT is what I call a good, no a GREAT businessman.

If his own party can't stop him (and they're trying VERY hard), then no way will Hillary be able to. So for better or worse, yeah... get used to hearing "President Trump".

That's generally true, which is just one reason I think Trump may actually be right. He wants to scrap TPP and similar, and instead go back to the country-by-country deals. I think for a number of different reasons, that's the way to go. (And yes I ...
