Noisy replied Aug 26, 2025I am not a scalper who likes to chase for a daily profit target or similar. I’ll just try to execute my strategy (mostly automated) as flawless as possible and average a certain minimum percentage return at the end of each month/quarter with it. In ...

Noisy replied Aug 26, 2025I thought it was more like a conflict between Metaquotes and the CFD props why they stopped serving US clients. There are no regulations for CFD props in the EU so I don’t see why that should be an issue. To me Darwinex should be actually more ...

Noisy replied Aug 26, 2025In a hurry. Yes, somehow. To be completely honest, I've been trying for 10-15 years to find a way to earn a certain minimum income from trading, but somehow I'm not getting anywhere and it's impossible to find effective help on how to realistically ...

Noisy replied Aug 26, 2025Isn't it strange that Darwinex Zero is allowed to accept people from the US to trade CFD demo accounts, while prop companies like FTMO, which also only offer CFD demo accounts, refuse to accept them? Both use MetaTrader.

Noisy replied Aug 25, 2025I've taken another look at them, but I'm still put off by all the rules that pretty much restrict your trading style, and by how severely limited the payouts are. A few thousand or so per payout, and as soon as you reach a certain threshold, you're ...

Noisy replied Aug 24, 2025I don't want to deny that futures are more transparent, but in my almost 20 years of trading with numerous CFD brokers, I personally have never encountered a single instance of deliberate price manipulation. I must say that for the past 10 years, ...

Noisy replied Aug 24, 2025I don't understand this criticism from people who always say that CFDs are ripped off compared to futures. For example, when I look at a chart for the S&P 500 index, regardless of the time frame, I see almost identical price action in the CFD ...

Noisy replied Aug 22, 2025Quantower sounds great! You seem to be able to copy orders between different accounts directly within their platform. Algos/Indicators can be programmed in C# so you don’t need to learn another proprietary language if you’re already familiar with C#. ...

Noisy replied Aug 22, 2025Hey Crypto. Thanks for the tip! I took a look at NinjaTrader for the first time a few weeks ago. The platform itself looks pretty good, but as I said, I'm not yet familiar enough with it, especially when it comes to automation. Since I started ...

Noisy replied Aug 22, 2025I believe there are quiet a lot of algo future traders. Not sure they use MetaTrader for it (especially in the professional space (Hedge funds, Quants etc.) I guess they use their own individual programmed solutions and the FIX API for it.

Noisy replied Aug 22, 2025That’s why I started to use MT5 but not many brokers seem to have it. Not sure about props. I am currently testing a MT5 account with AMPFutures. In the futures world most brokers seem to provide their own proprietary platforms. Some do NinjaTrader, ...

Noisy replied Aug 21, 2025Really cool guy, and interesting to see what he's achieved so far in his life as a trader, as well as his perspective on things. Something different, hope it's okay to share it here. I have to go to bed now, it's late here. url

Noisy replied Aug 21, 2025Yes, perhaps they still have the fewest rules. However, I don't understand what the point of the 5-day minimum profit is. Shouldn't it make absolutely no difference whether you made $50, $1,000, or $10 in a day? Every trading book in the world tells ...

Noisy replied Aug 21, 2025I looked at Tradeify and the STF account appears to be the cheaper deal as compared to FuturesTicks Zero account. But I’m not sure it will work for me because from what I read you have quiet a lot of restrictions in your trading style (e.g. now ...

Noisy replied Aug 21, 2025Maybe a more consistent profitable adventure to start a „prop firm“ instead of trying to make money trading the markets. Chances are probably higher reaching your first 1-10 millions instead of with trading.

Noisy replied Aug 21, 2025Yes, then Tradeify does cost less than FuturesTicks for the same deal. Not sure about pulling 3K at that point. It probably depends on how fast you can achieve it and if there is again a payout cap? What I like about FTMO is that you don’t pay a ...

Noisy replied Aug 21, 2025Yes... I thought that these futures props made sense, but so far I don't really see any real advantage over a CFD prop like FTMO. Since I don't have any restrictions due to my country of origin, FTMO offers significantly higher capitalization and no ...
