S and p 500 added on. Oil seems to be finding support at the same level as before so may come back.

Not too bad. So how much did you risk in total to achieve that?

Letting things go comes with practise (although good money management helps too, if you're not risking too much you are less worried about the outcome). How many pips was it in total on Audjpy? (and how much swap did you pay?)

I'm guessing that's because my broker has a Sunday candle. Do plenty of back testing to find out the best parameters before you trade anything.

I use an inital stop loss to keep the losses small if the breakout fails. Once the trend is established I exit per the normal rules with a slight twist.

That's the exit for the short trade that was in place before I started trading the system. The system entered last night on a break of the upper 55 channel.

Yes, it depends on the system. If you're not comfortable with a long spell of losing trades then you are better off changing the system to something with a higher strike rate. There's no point fighting the psychology, if the system fits you then you ...

Talking of drawdown, everything is pulling back quite hard today, could be some small losses taken. Nzdusd looks the most likely to go. I'll let it do what it's going to do and reassess in the morning.

Euraud stopped out for a small loss, not much of a surprise there. Everything else blazing a trail still. Looks like s and p 500 may even add on again tonight if it doesn't pullback.

Everything pulling back a little today. Big news for the euro this afternoon and, of course, nfp tomorrow so let's see what that produces.

Yes, it depends on your system though. A 50% strike rate shouldn't produce much more than 16 or 17 losers in a row. Less than that and it could potentially more. This is why you need to keep your losses small as a % of your account and you need to ...

Hmm, 25% up after just over a month. I could shut everything down now and still have a good year! The only thing that concerns me with this is that if it makes gains this well how does it do when it does draw down? Generally the higher the gain the ...

It does come with experience. Look at Gizzledonk. After a huge trade on Audjpy do you think he will be tempted to fry his head with 5 or 15 min charts anytime soon?
