Careful, its stock market positive news, meaning the JPY pairs are going to go up. UJ is the only pair that doesn't care about USD negative news. Only stock market news.

lower CPI is usd negative as it suggest rates may not need to move higher, and also stock market friendly so jpy-crosses should continue to do well. Gotta love that.

GBP/AUD, and GBP/CAD both move like GBP/USD (more similar)

Yen pairs all move the same. GBP pairs dont because GJ can go up , while GU can go down. Sometimes GC and GJ move together, but JPY pairs move together a lot more often because of the interest roll over.

The dollar is doing more damage to the crosses, then help lately.. It's helped bring up UJ a little, but has shut down gbp, nzd, eur, aud.

I've not studied EW, but I think would be better for smaller time frames, not a way to tell the future.

I'm not real confident in EW, because all /JPY pairs are connected, they all move the same. If these pairs are going up, it will bring them all up.
