when a trendline is broken another way i like to do it is i plot a cci and draw trendlines on it when its broken means trend is slowing down or turns to ranging market. then for entry i would look for a 1-2-3 pattern and trade that.

ooooooooo pairs: gbpjpy and usdjpy sell gbpjpy and buy usd/jpy. correlation at -0.71!!!!! when its usually a positive 0.80 or 0.90 this seems a bit more risky coz i havent tried those pairs yet. but if it works as expected should bring alot of pips ...

i agree. the next step is to program it. as for now im working on finding the perfect ratio to enter and position size and all this stuff. i found that trading anything lower than 15 or 30 min could be misleading even with correlation dipping alot. ...
