stevepatt replied Apr 24, 2014If the TDI on W1 is Green over RED then I want to be trading long on D1. Lastingwell posted a reference about getting a trading bias from one TF higher than you are trading in this post Post 36,653 it helps to avoid fake outs.

stevepatt replied Apr 24, 2014If I was trading H4 I would want to see it in agreement with D1, I only trade D1 because of limited time to trade. I know this isn't how BigE traded it but as we are essentially trading a MA cross over I want to have more in my favour especially on ...

stevepatt replied Apr 24, 2014I didn't consider AUD/JPY D1 for a short trade because the past three weeks have all been inside weeks with support below. I'm looking to get my Daily trades in line with the Weekly so far I've found none this week.

stevepatt replied Apr 23, 2014Hi Gil, If you make a template with the TMS indicators you can switch between the two, to be able to see charts here, it only takes couple of seconds. It's a lot more constructive to have charts posted with trades taken.

stevepatt replied Apr 23, 2014GBP/USD D1 is signalling a short at the moment but I'm wary of taking it, I know the market is hitting monthly resistance but I've got a feeling there's more movement north to come. If it does start to run down I'll look for a bounce trade to go ...

stevepatt replied Apr 23, 2014It's a shame about the way the candle is closing on EUR/USD D1 other wise it would have been a good setup.

stevepatt replied Apr 22, 2014Hi Agk007, The part of the TDI that represents the current candle moves with it until the current candle closes then it is set. If yours is not moving you need to refresh your chart. I've watched a lot of Dean Malone's videos, that cover the TDI, ...

stevepatt replied Apr 22, 2014I don't know how many are aware of it but the TDI is made up of a 7 Simple MA Red and a 2 Simple MA Green essentially we are trading the cross of two MAs. That is why it is so sensitive to price movement. I'm not trying to detract from the thread ...

stevepatt replied Apr 22, 2014Hi Gil, I agree by sticking to Eric's way of trading can be profitable as long as we don't get hung up by R:R. Eric could make good money because he was trading with full lots, he aimed for 50 pips a day ($500), if a trade went against him he got ...

stevepatt replied Apr 22, 2014The congestion is down to the Easter weekend, no momentum. Personally I find it difficult to enter a trade when I see so many MAs that the market has to travel through before things go my way. I find Guppys are good for catching retraces in an ...

stevepatt replied Apr 22, 2014Cancelled my Sell Stop market came within .8 of a pip of triggering my short this is why I use Stop orders to enter a trade. First Image Looking at this setup again I see it was not a strong trading opportunity. The strongest bounce trades come ...

stevepatt replied Apr 22, 2014Don't worry about it, I'm only here for the trading and to learn. Like I said in an earlier post I was following Eric's way of trading when I first started to trade and want to get into that mindset again.

stevepatt replied Apr 22, 2014I always enter with a Sell or Buy Stop order that way if the market turns immediately I'm not caught on the wrong side. It doesn't work all the time, of course, because the market can trick you in and then turn but I find it works well for me.

stevepatt replied Apr 21, 2014I like your style Seereye, there's no need to rush into something at the end of an easter weekend. Saying that EUR/USD looks like it's setting up for a bounce on D1.
