You are confusing major pairs with traded and derived pairs. Personally, I prefer major vs exotic pairs, but your research or studies need to be on bank traded pairs vs derived pairs.

EJ is not a traded pair. EJ is a derived pair. UJ and EU are traded. That is reality and not debatable. Any observed relationship between traded pairs and their crosses is not evidence of an algo, but is how derived pairs are calculated.
