Hi Mladen, Thanks for your input. Glad to find you here. I was an elite member at forex-tsd for some time and you coded indicators and fixed EAs for me. Appreciate what you did there. Here I have a question. How is that average line of Marney volume ...

For JPY futures it's confusing. On the one hand, after that FOMC UHV bar on 1-hour chart price could not close higher than the high of that UHV bar, indicating bearishness. On the other hand, it could be forming a bullish flag. P.S. JPY futures is ...

This is also the reason why VSA still works. All strategies /methodologies that can be easily mechanised would stop working.

Sure you can. Just that you won't have many trades. Market won't allow high probability patterns to occur frequently. Otherwise a lot of traders will notice those patterns and trade them and by doing so will kill the effectiveness of those patterns. ...

Fantastic ! Is it a VSA trade ? I ask this question because the bar before your entry bar is a high volume up bar.

As both the open time and timeframe of a candlestick can be random, basically it's saying, pick any two moments in a market, the price of those two moments will be different 95% of the cases.

Gold futures chart. The 1st chart is monthly. The 2nd chart is weekly. On the monthly chart it formed a trap up move with the Sep volume as the highest on the chart. That's a strong SOW.

Petar, Turnip 15 asked for a link to your Myfxbook account. This is a reasonable request. People need know whether you're a profitable trader before they pay for you education service. Would you be so kind as to provide it ? Cheers

It is a buying and selling vacuum. Bulls think the right place to buy is below 150.80 while the bears think the right place to sell is above 151.05. Al Brooks mentioned this buying/selling vacuum in his book.

Agree 100%. Also, if an UHV up bar appears immediately after an up move starts, it is more likely to be strength. If it appears after an extended up move, it is more likely to be weakness.
