This is true for the frama ribbon, yes take the trade as soon as you see the dot. The xsupertrend is set to current TF but is configured to mirror daily.

Yes you are right in what you say. When you read the thread (or even the last few pages) you will understand what is happening with the dots and how to trade them (there are two ways). I encourage you to go back and see if you can see what I mean...

Hi Howard I am trading the daily with weekly settings and the 4hour with daily settings Yes all have interpolation set to true, so the dot appears early

Sleep on it man...I was confused yesterday but writing out the tutorial helped me. It really isn't that hard once you have done it a few times. BTW your charts posted above are exactly the same as mine. (your gold charts)

OK let's try this If we want to trade the daily chart the frama ribbon will need to take its signals from the weekly TF. The xsupertrend also wants to take its signals from the weekly TF, but doing this we get the colour change signals too late ...

David...we are trading the daily and the 4 hour seperately. We are not trading the 4 hour off of the daily chart.

Hi David That is weird...maybe it has to do with the broker feed. The key is to adjust the settings so they match for your charts. Chris

In the settings you can turn 'interpolate in MTF' on or off. So the EA will close the trade on the appearance of a dot either way

David you do not need to experiment for the daily of 4hr charts...aaven has posted them above. Thanks aaven. If you need another TF or another pair then you can use the tutorial.
