clockwork71 replied Oct 20, 2007Minor - I your recent post I saw two words that you might want to think about.... Definite and Precisely. Unfortunately, these words don't really exist in Forex. Probable and likely are better ones. I know this seems petty, but trust me on this: No ...

clockwork71 replied Oct 18, 2007Response to this quote, not this author... The idea is to be able to trade, not to wait until your machine tells you to. I believe that time and experience can tell me what I need to know. I have a brain, this is a tough business, so therefore I ...

clockwork71 replied Oct 18, 2007The only issue I have with Oanda is the lack of trailing stops. Not that I use them often, but I think it's a very basic function. A lot of traders like them, so I do not know why Oanda hasn't bothered trying to figure that one out..... Clockwork

clockwork71 replied Oct 12, 2007I am the same kind of trader, (Techie) but I think that it is important to keep these things in mind. As far as NFP, or other announcements like these, I don't necessarily trade them. Unless, of course, there is an obvious point to get in. Today, I ...

clockwork71 replied Oct 6, 2007AMEN. We are all trying to "Trade to live", NOT "LIVE TO TRADE". It is for this exact reason that I do not care about random spikes on server A vs. B. I am not putting Wizard down at all, it's just I prefer longer time frames, to avoid stop hunting, ...

clockwork71 replied Oct 6, 2007I had a Scottrade account for a few years. Nothing overly exciting, but if you are a long-term investor, I think they would do well for you. (I believe the transaction fee is $7/trade, maybe?) Either way - I never had bad experiences with them.....

clockwork71 replied Oct 3, 2007Plus, I would like to add two very important words: Canadian Shale. Shale becomes profitable at roughly $70/barrel. Canada had a ridiculously huge deposit. OPEC knows this. (There are estimates that western Canada is roughly as saturated as the ...
