      Yes, and it can be dangerous if you forget to make sure the stop loss of one position is the same level as the take profit of the counter position...otherwise ur re exposing to market..One advantage of using hedging i can see is to help u separate ...

      Hedging is just like closing position...except thay psychologically it makes u feel better.However, you're essentially giving more spread for the broker Having said that, I like to hedge too..
