Sorry, I saw this earlier and forgot to answer. This is not a pair I would be trading, too choppy for my liking. It's tricky to see what's happening on your chart because you have too much clutter on there but looking at my brokers chart it was a ...

A notice to all thread followers... I have been posting systems on Forex Factory for quite a while now and although I am overjoyed to have helped so many people on their trading journey I have taken the decision to become a commercial member. This ...

Why add on at arbitrary levels? What's wrong with sticking to the system and trading breaks of s/r? If you add on randomly I am fairly sure you will not make more money than the original system. Of course if it tests out positively then I will be ...

All pulling back a little. Maybe will take off again or maybe not. The stop losses should be trailing soon so will lock in some profit. Still a good return in a short space of time and this is exactly what I expected to happen so I'm not upset about ...

If you want my help here it is... Basically the same as Steve said... If you are going to trade trends then you have to accept that you are going to lose lots of small trades at the start before you ...Max's Simple Ride the Wave System

As far as I am aware the EA will trail as many open trades as you have. It definitely works for 4 or 5 trades on the same pair but not sure of just how robust it would be if you had, say, 10 or 15. Time will tell.

Here are the charts just after my brokers candle close/open tonight, I'm loving this 10pm close! Eurusd, audusd and nzdusd need a move and a pullback before anything happens. Euraud still running, closed just above the 10 ema so stop loss not moved ...

Yes, I get that impression. I have grown to like it and have never liked anything else. You do have to be careful with dodgy historic data, so called "bad ticks", etc but on the whole it does the job for me. What platform do you use?

The candle close time varies from broker to broker and won't make a difference to the long term profitability or otherwise of the system. I still believe there is something in this approach but maybe the add on method and trailing method needs ...

Right, how are you getting two ea's on one chart then?! It works fine if you just place the inital stop when you place the order and then let the ea trail the stop/s for you.

- Hugh Briss replied Sep 25, 2012
You need to set the initial stop yourself manually when you place the pending order and the ea will trail the stop automatically once your trade goes into profit.

Hello, I'm not sure how the expert advisor moved the stop loss further away, I've never had this happen. The 100 pip stop loss is just a guide, you could use 1 or 1.5 times ATR if you like. The idea is just to give it a bit of room for the trade to ...
