tj, to have such a long-term view from 2002 and only to be only long since then is not smart in my opinion. look at price going down in 2014 from 1.4000 to 1.0500 in 2015 - you`re still long with a massive drawdown? would rather be a swing trader.

the basic idea of BWILC is to trade only 1 instrument (say EUR/USD) in only 1 direction (say only buys). the direction is determined by your belief of the direction of price: is it trending up - we only buy.......... trending down - we only sell. ...

you can make your own chart and draw 5 horizontal lines on the daily TF EUR/USD @ 1.0800 - 1.0950 - 1.1100 - 1.1250 and 1.1400. the idea is to try to buy most in the 1st quarter 1.08-1.0950 and exit in the highest quarter, the 4th quarter ...

Xaron, your EUR/USD grid is 1.08-1.14..... buys @ 1.1273 1.1200 1.1141 are those buys not a bit too high in your grid being in the 3rd and 4th quadrant or do you have other reasons to take them?

hey BBW, this is not a grid system in the usual way where you for instance buy/sell every 30 pips up or down. the grid here is meant to see the price action better and buy in the lower quadrants and sell in the higher ones. it is a good system and ...

price can go up for a long time: you only have to look at the indices like Nasdaq100 where you have trends lasting 5-9 years and go bust in 1-2 years and start all over again. just be prepared for the bust when you`re long.
