I assume since the spread isn't accounted in the stats, we should subtract 2-3 pips per trade from the total? - Or whatever your average spread is per pair per trade.

Thanks for your help. How about the SL? The original post says that the SL can be a max of 2pips. But in the post 6230 he says that it can be a max of 3.2 pips. Now, maybe the first post didn't include the spread, but I've never heard of Tony losing ...

Tony, what candle did you enter on? I entered after the 3:00:25 candle since the :25 candle was the first 1pip candle. It seems as though you've entered a few candles before me and am just wondering if I am missing something. Thanks.

So I guess today we are taken out at -2pips? Short trade entered on the 3:00:25 candle.

However, that is exactly the same thing as just keeping that profitable position open instead of closing it and then reopening it yet again. I just don't see a point of closing the trade and opening another trade at the same exact level in the same ...

So for instance, we went long and our TP was hit. Now the question is, after the TP is hit, do we close that position and immediately place another trade in the same direction? Or are we just simple adding another position to the first one after we ...

Jaws, can you please let me know if I have a general understanding of the altered system and let me know if you can address my questions. I've posted a couple of hours ago with an example. Thanks.

Let's assume we start at 1.5000 for discussion purposes. We would place one long and one short trade on different accounts. Price goes to 1.5500, that means that one account is +50pips and the other is at -50pips (plus the spread of course, on both ...

I am aware of that. Please re-read my post. I was using it as an example that was brought up by another person a few days ago. Thanks.

I'd appreciate if you can help me understand how a 25% retracement would get you to a break even? Also, why and when would you add the 6th buy position? According to his example your 1st buy position would be at 1.5000, 2nd at 1.4900, 3rd at 1.4800, ...

I still do not see the point of opening 2 trades at the same time. According to you we would have closed the second position - lower band close short, upper band close long. So drawdown would have been there all along no matter what. The question ...
