catiron replied Apr 29, 2009In my charts above, I set my stop to break even after about a 30 pip move up. the trade obvioulsy worked out well after i was stopped out early.Should have held my original stop longer.

catiron replied Feb 22, 2009One approach: If a trade has achieved 1:1 risk/reward and is approaching the first area of S/R, take some or all of your profit. If there is room to go before S/R is hit, move your stop to break even and watch for the move to continue.
