I believe that's part of the indicator's programming. You would have to go into each indicator and remove the section of code that displays that info. Then, save it and recompile it. Even so, I don't think you can do it to some of MT4's built-in ...

I know what you mean. It took a little while to get the hang of Navigator but, now that I'm familiar with it, I love it. Once they put the charts in, it will be fantastic. For me, the flexibility in orders is worth any small aggravation. I've been ...

Yes, the platform requires Internet Explorer to be installed on your computer. However, you can use any browser that has an IE plugin, such as Firefox (thank goodness). As for Flash, I doubt that they would use Flash for the same reason that they ...

A 3 pip spread on EUR/USD? Even IBFX is better than that! As far as I'm concerned, anything over 1 pip fixed spread on E/U is unnecessary, but over 2 is a blatant ripoff.

Actually, if you read back a bit in this thread, you'll find that Justin explained very clearly why they can't use MT4. Basically, MT4 is designed for Dealing Desk brokers, and EFX is an ECN. I love MT4 charting, too, and the indicators are ...

Yes, I know, but I didn't think EFX had anything on their site about connecting to other software. I was going through MBT because you specifically mentioned them. However, I see that EFX does have something there, so I'll try them first.

The thing is, he's trying to calculate what his rate of return is on the money he actually used to trade with. How much he intended to use (in his mind, as you put it) doesn't mean anything because it's not in use. It's only the money actually used ...

Ghamm: Thanks for the info. winwin: I appreciate the effort but, like I said, I'm not a programmer. I wouldn't have any idea where to start, what the syntax would be, etc.

Thanks, Ghamm. From what I've read so far, the DLL would be best. Like I said, I don't want to trade from the MT4 charts, I just want a chart that shows EFX's prices. I don't use EA's, either, so there's no issue there. Now, where can I get a DLL ...

I've read this thread with interest. Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer, so I need to rely on something someone else has done. I'm not looking to trade from the charts, but I do want to use MT4 with EFX's prices. Basically, when I look at my MT4 ...

I understand you're looking for EA help, but I feel obliged to point out a major flaw in your system. I'm not trying to be negative here, just helpful. Your Risk:Reward ratios are 10:1 (TP 10; SL 100) and 8:1 (TP 25; SL 200). That means that you ...

As so many quickly discover, there's no uniformity in Forex. Each broker is different -- even different MetaTrader brokers. I use IBFX and their candles start at 00:00 GMT. Oanda's start at 23:00 EST (11:00 pm), which is 04:00 GMT like you said.

At the time that I used it, there was very little flexibility. I couldn't change the colors of candles, for example, and they didn't have some of the indicators that I was trying to use.
