Question: What makes your target 4275? I see 4265 as main resistance there. Is it just overshoot?

In Asia session, silver is the big mover and gold is now following. Price now moving back to the middle of the NY session range. There will likely be strange moves, closing positions today. I always find Fridays a challenge to read.

Interesting to note gold is not rising on worry this week. Considering all the military hardware amassed in the Caribbean, and airspace closure imposed, and Trump's phone call ultimatum to Maduro, and the narrative that's being spun on the danger to ...

Asia session high is in view now at 4217. Anyone trading the boxes have a view on the next zone higher? A lot of open space. I'm new to using that idea. I see 4230 as a target resistance.

Keep an eye on silver. Someone has been keeping a lid on it today. If it goes, gold goes with it.

One more fundamental factor right now is DXY showing weakness since Tuesday noon NY time. This is allowing EUR to run. And 10yr bond yields are falling due to expected Fed softness. Which is all supportive for gold. Important level for me is ...

I remember something similar happened during Asian session, last year Boxing Day I think. Low liquidity, no one's at their terminal, stops being run in. And add technical problems at CME, it's messed up price discovery in futures and options. ...

True possibility, maybe while NY traders are still sleeping after eating turkey. Also Silver last hour just re-tested the double tops from Oct17 and Nov13 at around 54.38 to 54.45. Didn't quite get as high today at 54.19, then the big move down.

Opinions on how this wedge resolves on the 1D chart? My opinion: Will be driven by risk sentiment before Dec 5, which will move DXY, EUR and JPY. The driver could be the Ukr peace process or some macro event. New ATH or toward 100DMA.

Why the move up. at the top of the hour? Probably has something to do with this headline. The question is, will it fade?
