bullionman replied Feb 11, 2016Interesting. A lot of variables there, most of them are trackable, except China selling US-Treasuries which apparently happened to some extent last year. Not sure when it started, for how long or why (or the extent of 'hyperbole' in the article).

bullionman replied Feb 11, 2016I feel the pain for you (vicariously), but hey, who dares wins right?! I've been reading about bond (bund) behaviour but still staying clear as I don't 'feel' them, if you know what I mean. I was wondering if you (or Sisse) had any theories on ...

bullionman replied Feb 3, 2016Hi USD-Bear, I am curious about your trades (also the trades that were clustered around 160). When interest rates fall (or forecast to fall) the market price of bonds should rise, thus lowering the bond yield. If Euro interest rates are (seemingly) ...

bullionman replied Jan 26, 2016Funnily enough I do the same. It was only because Nenad's trades recommend them that I add his SLs. My loss was only a small 1-mini lot test trade so no big deal, but I think I will go back to using price-level-alerts rather than SLs.

bullionman replied Oct 16, 2015*bump* - I had the same question in my mind. i.e. fall in equities = rise is USD = fall in XXX/USD crosses (though not a total inverse correlation). So I was a bit confused also. No doubt Sisse will clarify as always. Sisse's analysis is always ...

bullionman commented Sep 14, 2015All these rogue traders are giving 'Asperger's' a bad name! Typical routine.. Trader: "sell seeelll SEEEEELLLLLLL.. ..o-oh, I think I just killed my bank" (..Later in court..) Magistrate: "why was he so reckless?" Lawer: "It's not his fault, he has ...

bullionman replied Aug 7, 2015No need to respond. I closed the positions, very low profit compared to constant worry of surprises. Not my kinda currency to trade. I'll stick to EURUSD.

bullionman replied Aug 6, 2015Hypothetically speaking, What would happen to the USD/HKD if Hong Kong unpegged the US dollar? Could USD/HKD spike downward 'thousands of pips' in minutes like the USD/CHF (leaving a red candlestick-of-death spike in its path)? I know the USD/HKD ...

bullionman replied Aug 4, 2015Hi, This thread/system started Mar 1, 2012. Have you noticed any significant change in market patterns since then, that have affected the system? or is it reasonably stable and can handle new major trends safely without DD?
