Its not a gap in the chart, its the actual value eur/usd is not trading at an equal value that they are both separately trading against the yen. either way, doesn't matter...I shorted EUR/JPY and its working.

The difference between USD/JPY and EUR/JPY is .21 The Difference between EURO and USD is .18 That's a 300 pip gap between where the two pairs are trading against the Yen Would I be mistaken to think that that gap should close at some point?

So a bit off topic. If EUR/JPY is sitting around 138.000, and the EUR/USD sitting around 1.18, shouldn't we see either a jump in the USD/JPY or a large drop in the EUR/JPY to even out the USD/JPY to EUR/JPY ratio? Just a thought I had.
