gbpusd hit my SL at BE, i have yet to catch one of these big moves! At least SL was at BE so it wasnt a loss usdjpy still open, currently - 2 pips

Yes I did, SL is now at BE, no risk. Also took USDJPY short, only just triggered, lets see how it goes. image

I cancelled my buy order on usd/chf when it didn't trigger within a couple of hours! - I guess that news has caused the move. Great trade.

I think the key word is patience! As Titch said "sometimes the best trade is no trade" Not found many set ups today, PA on most pairs I watch is too far away from the balance line, it will return eventually!

Exactly the way I view it too. In the example i gave my SL at BE was taken out but as you say, much better at BE than at a loss. Thanks very much

As i thought, stopped out at BE. To be honest it was against the main trend but is did break the 50ema so a possible change of trend, maybe I should have scalped it and taken 18 pips to the bank. We live and learn.

sorry USD/CHF. Set the order thinking that the trend could be changing. Looks like it was a false signal judging by the current candle. The formula for entry certainly keeps you away from the signals that dont work out. image
