      by a factor of 10...yeah...so...debt servicing isnt the only thing the govt has to spend money on. but regardless, if the date comes and the debt ceiling doesnt get rise...the whole world will be in a "sell first ask question later" mode

      agree...I dont think there is anyone out there that thinks that the US would default. But govt will wait until the very last day to come to an agreement...that is another 10 days of USD.JPY inching lower and lower.

      yeah...it's possible...but i'm not sure what will be the catalyst for such a big move. maybe a huge pullback on the stock market...but then again...we havent seen a huge pullback in stocks for the past 5 years been waiting for a huge risk-off ...

      looks like BOJ QE + rise in the Nikkei is winning the battle vs Fed QE This fed move may have put the dollar to its weakest point...so I think u/j can only go up from here. But it may have problems staying above 100 unless there is some major dollar ...
