Great trades, TSD
Your entry, stoploss, and TP were perfect. Can't get any better than that. If we can keep finding similar low-risk trades like that one, with well-defined stoploss and TP, then we'll have succeeded at this supply/demand ...B.S. Trading with Kenneth Lee

If I may, I think TSD was referring to USD/CHF, Kenneth. I'm looking at the same possible swap area that he was talking about. Your teaching about swap areas, where transfer of control from supply to demand happens, really has helped me to make ...

News came out for the Swiss when price reached my intended short entry for EUR/USD. So I waited until price spiked up to the median of my H4 supply zone. Keeping a very tight stop above. Let's see if it retraces back inside the downward daily trend.

Good trade, Rufus! Yes, alterchristo, I marked my zone on H4 chart, because that's where the large down move originated a week ago. The lower level, where the market found supply this time (which Rufus sold at), had been touched already once, so I ...

If EUR/USD manages to reach 1.2817 area, I will consider a short with tight stop above the daily downward trendline. Target would be towards 1.2733, I think.

Hi folks, I have a question about test bars. I know that a supply test happens at the bottom of a down move, where, after showing demand, the pros mark down price rapidly to see how much supply volume is left in the market. A successful supply test ...

A little overview of what transpired during previous London and NY sessions that cause price to behave the way it did. This should answer some questions as to why the pair's correlation to equities/futures was weaker than normal. 20:02 GMT March ...

The way I see it, the weekend gap up and subsequent follow through up to test 1.3739 was fueled by leaked information pertaining to Geithner's toxic debt purchase plan. Investors are overall optimistic about the plan, since Geithner himself did say ...

What do long-termers among us think about this view that U.S. Government's QE policies and toxic asset plan will eventually cause runaway inflation and significantly drive money away from U.S. assets/bonds therefore weakening the USD further in ...

Like I mentioned, I don't know how much longer the Euro has before the dollar regains its advantage, but as far as I've studied expert commentaries, it's pretty hard to imagine Europe allowing its currency to strengthen that much (much above ...

Very good points, PSI. I also had this question myself even last week when all this rally was happening. How long will this rally last until the reality sets in for everyone that ultimately Europe is still behind the recession/recovery curve. ...

What makes you committed to your long bias, F.X.? How are you reading this current down move? Do you see it as impulsive selling into that top-side failure, and therefore the initial long bias remains intact?

In my mind, an overwhelming number of fundamental indicators point towards dollar weakness, and hence Euro strength as we open this week. 1. Nikkei put up huge gains today: up 270 points, obviously buoyed by optimism about the latest U.S. rescue ...

Hi everybody. There's no question that the Fed's decision to inject $1 trillion into the market is initially dollar negative, effect of which we're seeing as traders' first reaction is to move away from soon-to-be-over-supplied dollar. But isn't it ...
