BB Gann EURAUD BT for the year 2014 so far: There is really no going wrong when you use this strategy on this pair. It's like GBPJPY. You can take stupid trades and you'll still finish the year on the positive side no matter what (... well, okay, ...

I don't think it would matter. I did the BT with ThinkForex, which uses the same timezone as FXGlobe. But there's nothing that is time-related (like the fibo zone indi) so it shouldn't matter.

Most of those trades are 'uncertain', meaning it's up to the discretion of the trader whether to take them or not, but they're not ideal. In the posts where I post the BT template, I also post the trade-by-trade analysis: proper trades are only the ...

Buy Rule 2a: We enter a buy trade when CCI goes from oversold to normal AND there is a peak before the last valley (15.09.2014 satisfies this condition) Sell Rule 2b: We enter a sell trade when CCI goes from normal to oversold AND there is a valley ...

You've got it backwards! Buy Rules, Rule 2a.
Don't worry about it, Arso also made this mistake in a couple of trades, and I did it also and then realized it when I double checked my BT (as I always do). Perhaps you're too used to the SMRI, that ...BB Gann System

I don't like the practice of partial TP. It doesn't make sense to me. To me it just means opening two positions, each with a different TP philosophy. I mean, you've described two different scenarios here. If one of them, according say to a BT, ...

I don't know if we need to BT all pairs. Forex pairs are highly correlated, so I think doing BT for 10 (diverse) pairs would be sufficient. Then we can make improvements and BT the same pairs, and if things look good we will BT more pairs, or go ...

Hi Fxdaytrader, I'd be grateful if you (or anyone willing!) could make an EA out of the following strategy, so that I could more easily backtest it. Step 1: For every new candle (n), open a buy and a sell position simultaneously. (Default would be ...

Hey Jason, I'm glad an FXCM representative asked this! I don't know why others would be interested in this, but for me it was because of a strategy I invented (but unfortunately can't share!) that requires multiple orders to be placed and some of ...
