Engulfing bar down on Friday on D 1. Nothing happened all day Thursday and then boom a drop of about 35 points midday on Friday. Looking at the calendar all I can see is CAD employment data around that time. Does this move the NZD?

I am already Long EUR GBP. Today Sold GBP CHF Short from 1.457 to protect myself from big rise in CHF which could drag down EUR CHF. The other play would be to buy EUR CHF. Does anyone have a view on CHF here?

Yes I saw the mid point pivot at 7180 when they printed last night and thought good place for a short. But nowadays I prefer to see some downward movement before going short or I end up buying on the way up and stressing.

The dust seems to have settled and the EURCHF is looking like a tradeable pair again. Nice move this morning from 0.99 to 0.98 so 100 points in about an hour. That's more like it.
