Well if the price feed was incorrect and never hit a TP or SL, then the trades should be reopened as they would've never closed in the first place. Correct?

What everyone (who is not a US resident) who remarks about offshore "bucketshops" does not understand is that bucketshops are the only option in the US due to our wonderful regulations set forth by the CFTC and NFA. We have two "regulated" options ...

I have used Trader's Way for over 3 years. What are the benefits.....hedging, no FIFO, I only need to deposit 1/10 of the money to execute the same size trades as with a US broker. Shady practices??? lol, look at all of the US bucketshops my friend. ...

So, exactly as triphop stated, FXCM wants to be in the forex business but have no risk. If you can simply change margin without notice ALL RISK is deflated from FXCM on to the client. Complete bullshit, hopefully every other regulator bans FXCM as ...

They were fine until merge with Forex Broker Inc. Now it seems they charge the ridiculous spreads FBI did. Traders Way, FinPro and LMFX are the best options as of now.

I have one question: Being from France, why on Earth would you be trading with this bucketshop. US residents don't have much of a choice, but you have many far superior options as a French citizen.

Exactly, love when others grasp the fact that the offshore brokers are providing a much better trading environment. Not all of them, due your homework, but there are 3-4 very trustworthy offshore brokers who I feel way more comfortable trading with.

You are correct, there is no law preventing you from opening an offshore account. The law is if you accept US clients as a broke, you must be registered with the CFTC and all there ridiculous regulations (low leverage, no hedging, FIFO) apply. This ...

Nothing against Mr. Breakout, but why would you be asking someone else's advice on your money? That's like the sports gambler down with his bookie paying a sports service for their "expert" picks.

I have the same question for malcolmb. The EURAUD, GBPAUD EURCAD and GBPCAD are the 4 easiest pairs to trade without exception. AUDJPY and CADJPY are right behind. It is actually the US bullshit pairs that lose you money

Sure can't. It will still be a company with an officer who is a US citizen. They literally (the NFA) do not want US citizens to trade spot forex. That is the bottom line behind the regulations.

100% agree on Dukascopy. I traded with them for years until the NFA decided I would be better off NOT TRADING with a 100% SECURE BANK who insured my funds up to 100,000 CHF. Nope, they think I am absolutely better off with one of the scam brokers ...
