i tried adding this method to the EA i coded. I said that at least 25% of the candle body must have crossed the line and that the candle body has to be x pips big as well. It filtered out bad trades.

15 min. You can try out other timeframes as well. Just set the input periods to the timeframe in minutes. Eg 4h = 240 mins
