Yeah, it happened across the board against the dollar it seems. Not sure what causes stuff like that, but I've seen it on occasion over weekends. Sometimes it winds up being significant (on the open), but most times not.

I just Googled bits and pieces of that to see what it was from (book? poem?) And I found nothing, except your post. So.... dude!

Yep. And my reason for shorting this pair is that I just believe the Dollar is currently UNDER-valued vs the Euro. Of course the fact that "the market" has recently been trying to prove what a fool I am is another story!

This isn't so much about Trump himself as it is those who hate him, and WANT AND NEED TO STOP HIM. The biggest reason they tried to keep him from winning in the first place is that he's an existential threat to "the system" unlike any they've seen ...

Oh yeah, I know. But I was sorta joking about the "revenge trading" part... hence my smiley faces. That's not to say I'm NOT shorting, I am... and as I said, I realize that may not be smart... but gotta do it anyway.

Hey, I'll admit something here: I have a couple shorts open that I am going to KEEP open till this drops a lot... if/when it does. And my REASON for that? Basically because I think it's totally ridiculous that we're at the (high) levels we ...EURUSD

I left several trades open over the weekend (all small ones). Each of them are USD-positive... i.e., short EUR/USD. Yeah, I may get burned, in that I'm assuming it's time for things to turn... long PAST time, actually. But whatever... we shall ...

Oh no, Peter Gabriel is leaving the band! Well, that's the end of Genesis. Ummm.... nope! Amazing how they hung in there, even advanced, despite losing the unique talent of Gabriel. Says tons about the other guys in the group.

Now that's weird. But I can't find that gap on the charts I'm looking at, so it's even weirder. I notice is does, though, just about coincide with the Swiss Bank going insane on Jan 15th. But anyway, no I wasn't really serious about gaps. I know ...

Even better: How about 1.074? To close that nearly 100-pip gap that's just been sitting there for over 2 months now.
But seriously, though, that makes about as much sense to me as all these trend lines and patterns that people find/place on ...EURUSD

I'm not so certain about global warming, but as I've said, I'm not sure it matters. Even if it's real, and even if it's man-made (or not), chances are we're far past the point where we could do anything to stop it from getting much, much worse. And ...

In many cases, it's true that to fix something ("uncause" it) you just reverse what you've done and that's it. But in many other cases that's not at ALL true. I've heard the current climate change problem described as something like a boulder ...

Is climate change ("global warming") actually happening? Despite some debate, I'd say YES. Is this climate change caused by human activity? Again I'd saying probably YES, at least it's caused it to happen at an accelerated pace (as opposed to if it ...

Earlier I heard a couple people say they expected 1.085 to be the big hurdle, and if it broke below that then we'd probably be going much lower. Sounds about right to me too, but we shall see.
