FXSurfer replied Dec 23, 2009Yes. The idea is to get good positioning within an existing trend, in this case, above an area of support. The theory is that the greater the retracement (I think that's what you meant to say), the more likely that the trend is running out of gas ...
How do you differentiate between retracement and reversal? (In fibonacci)

FXSurfer replied Dec 23, 2009But, is the collective belly full enough to sink? We'll see - .8800 being probed downward again right now. Probably test the bottom of the range at .8780 really soon adding a little dough to your biscuit.

FXSurfer replied Dec 23, 2009Absolutely. The chicken and the egg co-exist here in the twilight zone. LOL! Meanwhile, .8800 being probed as nearby resistance.

FXSurfer replied Dec 23, 2009Agree with you on the pivotal level here. Looks like it should have enough interest in at least probing lower and enough resistance between here and .8800 for few attempts at a continuation downward shortly(pun).

FXSurfer replied Dec 23, 2009Oh man! You're making me hungry for kebabs and saffron rice - and it's 4:30 am here. LOL! It'd be nice to get a long from the bottom of this current mini-range at about .8750 support to see if it will break the top of the range.

FXSurfer replied Dec 23, 2009LOL! Looks like AUD may be quite content to trade between .8755 an .8770 for a while.

FXSurfer replied Dec 23, 2009Some unsolicited advise: Simplify your analysis to extreme simplicity. Reduce $$ down to .$ or even .0$. Don't worry about what "would've been" - it's pointless. Slow down or even take a break but, keep going.
