I had this the other day on a fresh install of MetaTrader. I think what you need to do is to go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors and enable the "Allow live trading" checkbox. Try that and see if it works now.

There current rollover rates are as posted at url . I checked the GBPJPY rate online against the swap rate on my demo account on Thursday and they were identical. Remember that on Wednesday, the rates posted will be triple what they normally are.
