Understand your concern D, but so far I dun see any pattern for long yet except for it reaching some fibo levels but not other tools to confirm it..i think the up move is some stop loss hunting for weak short positions..

I learned it from a master..basically there are 3 power candle types..power type 1 is engulfing candle where its high and its low is move than the previous candle.. eg: image
