Great post hermit, one of many on this and other threads I have seen Cindy start. I hate "the market is random myth" myself, the higher the time frame you look at the less random they look. I believe big big money moves the markets (by collusion) ...

I totally agree about just a few candlesticks and patterns being important. I dumped MAs also because they are a distraction for me.

Hi Boom, I always try to trade with the bigger TF, however I am happy to trade the retracement provided I see a valid trend through SR and a clear gap to next SR on the lower TF. I understand breakout trading but do not see myself as a breakout ...

The "grinder" failed to hit tp2 but the object was just to grab a few pips whilst the market makers position themselves for the mornings games. At least I was ready for the m15 reversal long.

I like to trade these retracements before FO LO, I call them "Grinders", they are usually nice steady moves grinding back to where they want to be ready for FO LO games.
