Firstboss replied May 16, 2008AUD just bounced off the weeklyR1 (0.9511) and daily R2 (0.9498) Probably won't go too far down though, good luck, Navin! In my experience with AUD, once it bounces off 0.xx10 to less than 0.xx94 the uptrend is over for the near future

Firstboss replied May 15, 200810 pips is a huge profit during these painfully slow hours :-) Closed short 1 minute before the swap :-) off: While GBP is stuck in the narrow range I am scapling on USD/CAD - it keeps bouncing down off the pivots day after day, about to break the ...

Firstboss replied May 15, 2008In the current situation if you enter in the middle of the range in either direction and aim for 8-10 pips you'll be in profit almost certainly. Markets have entered range mode across the board - GBP, EUR, JPY, CAD (this one is breaking the parity ...

Firstboss replied May 13, 2008Slow_k indicator shows oversold condition on 2-hour signaling a correction higher is in the near future. Plus, the pair bounced off the lower edge of the downtrend channel on the daily. I expect retracement to be limited to the weekly central ...

Firstboss replied May 13, 2008There is also such thing as no trend at all :-) Meaning don't trade at all or scalp 5-10 pips at a time In a long run, however, I still maintain that EUR will visit 1.4850 early in the summer. Not that I am a bit optimistic about the US economy - ...

Firstboss replied May 13, 2008Speculation in the northern direction will probably start before the news... I don't expect any positive surprises in the news - the stimulus checks won't play until next month. Even the funny arithmetics with counting retail gazoline sales won't ...

Firstboss replied May 13, 2008That's hard to tell right now... Most likely it will range between the daily pivot (1.5495) and daily central (1.5552) without touching either one until the morning news.

Firstboss replied May 12, 2008Agree, not enough momentum in the EUR/USD right now. Will get a lot livelier in a few hours, though... Still, I expect it to briefly touch today's daily pivot @ 1.5495 (or 4-5 pips short of it). It calls for some range scalping

Firstboss replied May 12, 2008Should've been reported as a joke :-) Thanks, Sikacek
As for the EUR, looks like it failed to break through the 1.xx65 level - a sigbificant number every hundred pips... If 1.5538 (weekly mid-pivot) and 1.5533 (daily mid-pivot) stop ...EURUSD

Firstboss replied May 9, 2008argh.... IToo bad I chickened out and closed half of my GBP shorts with -10 pips on the euro rally. Still, pocketed the rest at 1.9518 I expect a small bounce to add more shorts 1.9539 is the daily central, so shorting around 1.9530 if it gets there

Firstboss replied May 8, 2008Looks like EUR is more eager to drop than the GBP again, just like yesterday Might be a good time to jump into EUR/GBP short for 30+ pips I opened new fresh shorts at the daily central (1.9534). Take profit laddered @ 1.9519 and 1.9505

Firstboss replied May 8, 2008Jurassic, I completely agree. Both EUR and GBP are poised to go down in sync. EUR should retest the 1.4850 level, and consolidate between 1.48 and 1.50 before returning to 1.60. (Don't be fooled by a probable intra-day spike below 1.48
). As for ...EURUSD

Firstboss replied May 8, 2008Looks like both GBP and EUR are preparing to move further down overnight. Closed my short @1.9540, starting to build fresh shorts - 1.9546, 1.9560 (if it even gets there), 1.9588 (I wish!)

Firstboss replied May 8, 2008I am short @ 1.9565, adding more if it hits 1.9590. Take profit - 1.9540 Looks like it has a good chance of hitting both levels (daily pivot and daily central) before breaking out during the Asian session.

Firstboss replied May 8, 2008It was a bounce off the daily central pivot (1.9534) There is no way it breaks the daily pivot (1.9590) - this will be a good place for shorts. Looks like it's stuck between these two levels for the afternoon

Firstboss replied May 7, 2008I expect EUR/USD to downtrend towards 1.4850 area over the next 3-4 weeks and consolidate between 1.48 - 1.50 before another trip beyond 1.60 This is consistent with the longterm trend (weekly/monthly).

Firstboss replied May 7, 2008Slow-k indicator is showing oversold condition on 2-hour chart. However, the weekly S1 @ 1.9569 will probably put an end to GBP strengthening. Therefore, 1.9560 area looks like a solid take-profit target right now if you absolutely must go long now. ...
