gbp/usd — I'm long on the new 4H (08:00 CT) @ 1.5481 with a SL @ .5417 and TP @.5563 - slightly better but not much of a 1:1 ratio. I had shorted this pr one hour earlier and saw it reverse in the last 5-6 minutes for a -24 pips, hope I'm not ...

And this has to do with the TMS strategy in what way?

Well, I for one have printed your TMS Rules because since going live on 11/14 I have lost 6.5% of my acct. But Monday I loaded the SHI channel (from Sonic's thread) plus the channels for the TDI and although today isn't a good trading day in the US ...

I know your new daily chart opens in mid afternoon, mine too. Do you enter a day trade at that time or watch it through the evening and enter before going to bed? I've just not had any good results with the D. but know that most here on the forum ...

Quoting David C — "Find a timeframe that suits your trading hours and style" This has been my biggest problem as the only 4H that I can trade is the 08:00 CT (NY session) but if the mkt is volatile I feel the 1H or 15M is better - get in and ...

1-2-3 — I demo'd the 1 2 3 a year or so ago and had so-so results, not enough for me to continue. The problem I found was that #3 often didn't break the #2 position or broke it just a little so that i got into a trade but then reversed. I will ...

Thank you X-Man - I was trading every cross that fell within the parameters of the TMS indicators but with so-so success. Your post will be a big help. You have ditched stochs, correct? One question - what are the settings for the purple ema? Thanks ...

win some, lose some — `My 1st day of real money trading resulted in minus $8.00; I can live with that for now but I won't for long. None of the 3 prs had any volitility at all, just sat there. eub/gbp, usd/jpy, & usd/cad. Someone mentioned ...

1sr real money trade — I am in short the eur/gbp H1 @ .8561 and naturally it has stayed at a slight minus since 06:32 CT. Just one micro though so I won't get burned if it doesn't turn around. p. edit: in hindsight I should have used a sell ...

M/M — FXDD assures me that my live acct will be up and running by Monday. I will use 2% risk to start and I will keep a paper log of dollars earned, not just pips. If after 2 mos. of successful (keyword) trading I will increase to 3%. By mid ...

Usually, but not always, I use 1.5X for SL & 2-3X for TP BUT I also see where the fractals are. Then it is a judgement call on my part.

Actually I have two indicators to value SL & TP but only use one if entering a trade. I have fractals on my charts, just a much easier visual to see swing highs & lows, and then I have ATR default 14. I pull the ATR into the TDI window and change ...

A 14 period ATR on the H4 is 74 pips at the present & I believe you used a 40 p SL - much too tight in my opinion. And some here use 1.5 to 2 times the ATR by using good MM.

usd/chf — I shorted this pr on the H4 about an hour ago, in @.9064 and using the last fractals for SL & TP. Not doing much at the present time but hopefully it will closer to the NY open. A bit early for me but it looked like an A+ setup. p.

early NY session — This morning @ 06:04 CT I shorted the gbp/$ and lost 19 pips; an hour later I bought the same pr for +23 and also the $/Y for +21 - all on the one hour. I'm not use to trading this TF but E. says that if he were to trade NY ...
