I've been buying it up for the last three weeks, but when there are big moves up I get nervous and sell, then start buying small lots again. Yes, I'm kicking myself.

Is it just me or are we staying right above the 200 day simple moving average? 1 hour chart.

I've been long all week. And at the moment I'm down, but not by nearly as much as I'd thought I could be by now. Looks like we will get a red candle print on the weekly. Will be interesting to see what next week brings.

Looks like the British housing market is really heating up.

Surprisingly, we are still inside the standard deviation channel. I don't expect that to last through NFP though, unless the news for the USofA is bad, which I don't expect. All the other news has been good. image

I'd say there is a really good chance of beating expectations tomorrow. I wouldn't even be surprised if we get unemployment below 7%. This administration is caught up in a horrible Obamacare news cycle. It needs to break that cycle. News story ...

Well, I'm long still, so I'd like for you to be right. However, I am expecting us to go down before we go back up, and I'll be buying a little more on the way down. My next buy will be around 6275 area.

I would be very surprised to see that. So far this week, the news has all been positive for the USD. And each time we get positive news, the GDP/USD goes down. I expect to see more positive news tomorrow, which leads traders to think "Taper!" and ...

Euro and GBP both seem to be pretty strong against the dollar, whereas other currencies are weak.

Has anyone else noticed that this was started 40 hours ago and that his posts prior to this were from October? Don't expect anything more until mid January.

I also think, based on stories about the unemployment numbers prior to the 2012 election, we will see manipulation in those numbers. This administration is currently suffering from sinking poll numbers. It needs a boost. The best way to get that ...

I don't understand the predictions this time around. I'm looking at the GDP and the Unemployment predictions and I'm thinking, "Did they forget about Christmas?" Seems like we should have much higher GDP numbers and much lower unemployment, when you ...

I bought both of this earlier this week. I suppose if I were smarter I could have sold, bought back and sold again. Oh well.

I think there are a few other bulls around here. I almost sold my position at a profit last night, but held hoping we find a new high today. I was a little disappointed by the news releases.

It's true we didn't break 64, at least for long, we also haven't made any lower lows yet since being up in this area. Nor have we broken out of the uptrend designated by the standard deviation channel. I was disappointed to wake up this morning to ...

That didn't seem to pan out. What does "sure 100% profit" mean? I know the English language and what it normally means, but I don't understand how I'm supposed to interpret that from a complete stranger, other than to think it's just bluster.

I don't know if they are all the same or not. I trade with TD Ameritrade/Think or Swim. If I pay a commission (Which is basically 1 pip commission to enter and 1 pip commission to exit the trade) then the spread is generally around 1 pip or less. ...

I'm long at the moment, but I must admit, short does seem like a good trade at the moment. Whenever we're up, I think, "Long!" and whenever we're heading down I think, "Short!" I'm sure I'm the only one.
