I could think of several usecases: Commodities mostly trade in US so if for example Gold is trading near resistance and dollar strength kicks in it could result in a trade with ahigher probability.

Oil prices have only risen on hopes (global production cuts) nothing has fundamentally changed. OPEC+ meeting is scheduled on 6 april.

Don't beat yourself up buddy oil demand is down by 30M worldwide so there will come opportunities in the near future. Look at what happens a few hours later this isn't looking bullish this is hope being suppressed by the market.
