Embry1 replied Aug 3, 2017Really glad to see you guys getting good use out of this strategy. It's just so consistent compared to most strategies with this indicator. DD is usually quite low too. This is the only strategy I trade live as well. Only issue is that it's not a ...

Embry1 replied Aug 3, 2017Mine was a fresh EA, since I've had them fail before I just load a completely new EA onto each window.

Embry1 replied Aug 3, 2017Wow did I miss out, not sure what happened. Had two baskets set for GBP 11:00 GMT and neither triggered on two different accounts. Gained some pips on the 08:30 GMT but not sure what happened on the others. Using 37.7.8 beta 17

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017Setting up for AUD news here shortly, looking for a quick move. Tomorrow will be quite an interesting day, there's red everywhere! Monthly baskets could use a could shake up into the right direction.

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017That is just showing the bar end timer, which is simply when the current bar ends. With the TT setting you are getting real time indication of the candle so you may get multiple signals within the candle depending on how choppy it is.

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017Three monitors total, 2 of them have charts up all the time and the main monitor I have all my accounts running in the background and I just click whichever tab I want to view at the time. I also have charts running in the background on the main ...

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017For one I use thinkorswim for my charting, best free demo available in my opinion. It allows me to have 3 time frames for each of the 28 pairs with MAs and bollinger bands on each window (with the help of 28 inch 4k monitors lol) As far as the ...

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017Yeah GBP and USD were great today but crude oil was not. Earlier I mentioned that crude oil broke my rules and even knowing that I still did a basket to test. Sure enough it hit SL. I traded some EUR orange news on Monday and had some success. ...

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017If I'm not at the computer then I set for 1 min after release. If I'm at the computer I'll wait for the candle to break. There isn't an easier way to filter unfortunately. I have a demo account set up just for news so I have a window for each ...

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017Yes, I have done some testing with shorter time frames and H1 is the most successful by far. The problem you run into with shorter time frames are incorrect signals. If that M15 candle is telling the CCFp to sell when the previous H1 candle is ...

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017The settings work in the way that they do with the news in the same way manual traders look at these kind of trend indications. The 1H TT setting will indicate the correct signal based on the current 1H candle. Lets say the previous candle is green, ...

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017Charts are looking like the monthly may cross over into profit today or tomorrow. This basket was opened at 14:00 GMT yesterday, the DD is not 6200 pips, that was for the other account and when I swapped it kept that DD for some reason. Max DD for ...

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017I probably shouldn't have, I did open a basket but this kinda breaks my rules as far as after 13:00 GMT and we already had USD news this morning. We are probably about to see why I have these rules lol.

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017Just a TP and SL. Only other reason to stop a basket is if something unexpected is released and to manually close it.

Embry1 replied Aug 2, 2017Seems like the optimal time to open the monthly basket was around 14:00 GMT yesterday, or even later. Anyone who opened earlier than that definitely caught a bad pullback and the NZD news went the wrong way. GBP news was solid, traded both GBP news ...

Embry1 replied Aug 1, 2017Mixed feelings on this one, glad it was profitable but definitely should have widened the TP and SL. Also was not good for the monthly basket by any means. News trader seems to be absolutely killing it. Picture was supposed to say NZD not AUD. Oops

Embry1 replied Aug 1, 2017Mine are as well, I've got five trade explorers up if you want to check the status. I have a 12 basket monthly and a 9 basket monthly that cuts out level 2. I opened baskets at GMT 07:00 and from the charts it looks like most everything is in a ...

Embry1 replied Aug 1, 2017Still trying to get the hang of the orange news basket, EUR almost made it but just wasn't strong enough. Glad I had just a 70 SL. Also glad I had a 200 SL and TP for AUD news because it was a pretty wild swing. Results for news baskets so far ...

Embry1 replied Jul 31, 2017I'm going to run a filtered basket and open it manually. AUD wont have much effect if any on other pairs so unfiltered would be a gamble.
