At this moment in time I am glad I did not go with the EUR/USD long. Price just ran too far into resistance to expect a strong break. Happy to sit on hands for now.

I took a breakout on Cable instead so pulled EURUSD inside bar entry. Cable was a nice consolidation breakout of a sideways range but EUR has moved 75 pips without a decent retrace into resistance. It may work out still but preferred cable entry.

Agreed that inside bars can fake out often. I only ever play them at key areas and even then can often lose but generally come out on top over time.
